DRUGS
Digitalis and guanethidine decreases the heart rate.

Guanethidine increses the effects of direct-acting sympathomimetics (norepinephrine).

Alpha blocking agents, beta blocking agents, or reserpine likely will increase the effect of guanethidine.

Over the counter (OTC) medications for treatment of colds, allergies, and asthma containing sympathomimetics should not be taken without physician's advice.
